Our Founders

BlueWhale Bio’s founding scientific team is led by world-renowned immunotherapy pioneers Carl June and James Riley. Together with their team of leading cell therapy researchers at the University of Pennsylvania, they invented technology to be developed by BlueWhale Bio as a platform enabling the next generation of cell and gene therapies to address manufacturing challenges in efficacy, durability, and cost.
